"I was not happy with my posture and wanted to improve it. I thought, if my posture is bad now what is it going to be when I get 60, 70 and 80. I knew I had to take action so in 2007 my New Year’s Resolution was to improve my posture. I was already doing yoga 2 to 3 times per week so I added a Pilates class to help strengthen my core. My posture did improve but I was still tight in my lower back and still had what I call a sway back. I also wasn’t satisfied with my shoulder placement but I did not know anything else to try. I thought this is as good as it is going to get. Then Linda Christy started teaching the Postural Realignment exercises. These exercises have made such a difference for me. They help me feel what my lower back and shoulders should feel like when they are in the proper position. Once you learn how it should feel then it is easier to replicate the position. I have seen more results with these exercises than anything I have tried. When you see and feel results it motivates you to continue and makes you want do more.

I still have not achieved the posture of my dreams but I definitely feel that it is possible. Before PPR I did not know what else to try and was ready to give up. Now I know if I keep working at it and do these exercises I will fulfill my 2007 New Year’s Resolution. "
